The exterior of the facility and the terrace is lovely. If you are looking for a peaceful, unplugged type of vacation or retreat with stunning scenic views of the Italian countryside, this is the place.
The restaurant is opened for dinner every night, thankfully, otherwise we would have starved because there are not other options nearby!

Castrocielo is a small rural village perched halfway up a mountainside with few facilities for tourists, the nearby town of Roccasecca has shops, restaurants and bars. We stayed in a good hotel and liked the area because it was off the tourist trail.

The room was immaculate, shower great, and the bed super comfortable. The staff were efficient and friendly. We felt we were part of their family. Breakfast was good. The grounds were beautiful. The room was immaculate.
