The area is much quieter and if using public transport it's very cheap to get around, however busses aren't very reliable and may not stop if too full. The unico app was useful to ensure we always had tickets. Conca dei Marini is a quiet Amalfi coast town without the hustle and bustle of more famous towns but it also doesn’t have that much to see. You would probably want a car to visit the famous Amalfi sites if you stayed in this town. If you want to walk the Amalfi coast via small towns, you can probably do that here.

As in general Amalfi coast imo is overrated.
As in general Amalfi coast imo is overrated. Yes, it is unique, yes, it is beautiful, but... It is way too crowded in high season and as there are many tourist all things (including food etc) has very high price but average quality. To get around you need to sit in big traffic jams and there are literally no place to park car, if you are not willing to pay 10 EUR/h for parking - and even then there are places where you just cant park your car. It is worth to visit once in a life, but that's it.

Beautiful Views of the Ocean! But it is very high up so there are not a lot of places to eat around Conca. We eat at a wonderful local restaurant called Le Bontà del Capo. Nice quiet village in the middle of the Amalfi coast located...
Nice quiet village in the middle of the Amalfi coast located inbetween Positano and Amalfi town away from the hustle and bustle of Amalfi town, but not far away if you prefer a busy place to be. Great restaurants 10 minutes from our holiday home La Bonta del Capo and La Piazza da Nino both serving the most amazing fresh fish and pizza's perfectly cooked with efficient and friendly service and great local wines. Conca dei Marini is located on a cliff mountain so its uphill and down hill there are many steps vertical uphill as short cuts otherwise you can always walk around the corners on the road up and down the hill.

The kitchen and washing machine were nice amenities,, plus a great bathroom and shower also adds to the value. We found the bed really comfy, and enjoyed having the outdoor space to relax in too. It was easy to get to, just lots of stairs! And at the bottom of the town there is a free public beach. Cinzia was great, very helpful with buses and info, and fixed the air conditioning same day we arrived.MillyUnited Kingdom

The view from rooms and restaurant is stunning, beautifully showing Amalfi coast. The small private beach makes all the difference, it’s very clean with deep blue color of the sea, and we could order coffee and lunch to be brought to us there. The appartment was clean, pretty and calm, good privacy also. Pool area is nice, 'in the nature'. We were kindly received and very flexibly since we needed to change our arrival time. We got a lot of help from the host with breakfast, advice and even bus tickets, also with the transport as our flights changed to a nightly one so it was really appreciated by us.

This gem is run by a fabulous Italian family, super helpful, exceptionally clean, the most amazing breakfast (say yes to the cheese omelet), and great location. It's close enough to the touristy Amalfi and Positano, but we loved coming back to the quieter Conca dei Marini, where great restaurants are walking distance from the B&B. They helped us organize a scooter which we'll highly recommend, as it's the best way exploring the coast.

We also had no problem about parking our car. Also there was no stairs! I think this hotel was the best point of this holiday. Additionally, every room has a balcony and sees the sea. Really wow. I hope we come again soon. Also thanks to the gentleman who welcomed us and the sweet lady who took care of the rooms. Best regards.

Old town of Amalfi is only 15 mins by car (you can see it form the terrace), the nearest beaches less than 10 mins walk and Positano circa 35 mins by car. The apartment was well equipped, bed was very comfortable and a big rooftop terrace was just an amazing place to relax and enjoy the views of Amalfi coast. The payed parking was accessible within 200 m. from the apartment.

The apartment, well, it had amazing views of the Amalfi coast. The facilities were very good, and the host, Tony, was extremly helpful and willing to do anything to make our stay as good as possible.
