Perfect place if you like to get a more 'local' vibe rather than visiting the tourist areas. Super close to Sorrento by car and the surrounding towns were close too - no longer than 40 mins drive. The beach was 5 min walk, along with restaurants, bars and cafes which was great. Hire small cars to get your way around as big cars probably will end up getting scratched.

It is a good location to go to several places, but most of them not walking distance (unless you are living more central in Meta). You should be an experienced driver to be able to drive in Napoles area, including Meta and Meta neighbourhoods. Meta is an amazing price to just have rest after a long day visiting the amalfi coast and sorrento, located 10 min away from sorrento by train. Cool area calm and provides what you are looking for in a great price without exaggeration.

Meta was a cheaper alternative to staying in Sorrento but there is so much more to see and do in Sorrento. The train is ok, only 3 stops, but it can be over crowded. If you like a lively atmosphere with plenty to see and do within walking distance stay in Sorrento. If you want the quiet life stay in Meta. There is a fabulous bakery at the crossroad when heading down to the beach.

Meta is very quiet but cheap. A quick train or bus ride to lively Sorrento. Accommodation was a two minute was to the station. Nice harbour and restaurants but a bit of a climb. No major supermarket around and they all close between 2 and 4pm so don’t get caught out

This place is quite isolated & accessed by very narrow roads. Apart from a few nearby restaurants there is not much to do near the Hotel. I would recommend this Hotel for short stays of a maximum of 3-4 days with lots of organised tour activities to nearby attractions. Touring the area using a car is not a good option given the really narrow roads, which have many hazzards.

Enzo was a fantastic host and made us feel so welcome as soon as we arrived. The decor of the place is just out of this world and the breakfast was delicious. The attention to detail is amazing it has to be hands-down one of the best places I have ever stayed in. Our only disappointment is that we didn’t find this place sooner and stay here longer than one night. Thank you so much again Enzo and Rosio.

The room we got was pretty big, well designed with new furnitures, a balcony with a nice mountain view and sweet garden on the floor below Meta is a really nice village to visit and we would have stayed longer if we knew the hotel and the village are so sweet Thank you so much!

Everything you need is here, really well equipped, so close to train station or bus stop and an amazing pizzeria in the next house. Meta is perfect base to visit the Amalfi coast, Sorrento or Capri. Our host was the best. She was so kind and helpful, informed us from everything, we got so much information from her. She was waiting for us with muffins and wine and she was caring throughout our stay. 100% recommended!KingaHungary

Also, it includes a car parking spot, which is a rare thing in the area. Meta is a 15min drive from Sorrento and is also a beach town, so you can just walk to it, if you want to.
