Very friendly and attentive reception and restaurant stuff. Our deluxe room with a balcony had comfortable mattress and a comforter good for spring chilly nights. But furniture and bathrooms were quite old for the 5 star hotel. The hotel restaurant had a good chef. It was convenient to have a dinner on the site after busy day of exploring. Hotel is located in a beautiful country side and it is 15 min drive to the nearest town Polignano a Mare. Hotel provides also a shuttle for a dinner to the town. Access country roads to the hotel are very bumpy and narrow.

I love the location. It is truly a paradise. The staff was extremely accommodating as well. The food was delicious, and the design was simple and luxurious at the same time.

The room, hotel, and surroundings were incredible but what we will be talking about for years is the service. Not sure if I can say names on here but the very personable lady who checked us in (the one that had formerly worked at Disney) was so incredibly helpful, giving us a tour of the whole property upon our arrival which is quite large and giving us many recommendations for our few days in Puglia. The head of the bar program (the one who had previously worked in London) was so passionate about his craft, making very unique cocktail made almost exclusively with ingredients of Puglia or even the property. Some of the best cocktails we have had and great company too. This hotel is first rate and the best hotel we have ever had the pleasure of staying in, it doesn't get any better! We were quite sad to leave and say goodbye to the staff, thanks again for the great experience.

Polignano is a really beautiful , traditional Italian town .
Polignano is a really beautiful , traditional Italian town . The beaches are small and stunning , the sea is sparkling . The old town is small but with very charming lanes and eateries and bars . I would recommend this as a good base for a holiday in Puglia . Surrounding town of monopoli was also wonderful . The walk to San Vito monastery was beautiful!! A really special place !!

We didn't want to stay in Bari, so drove the short distance to this amazing white-washed town with great sunset views over the sea. If I had come at a different time of year, I would have definitely gone to the small, but clean beach. Food and drink were inexpensive (5 euro spritz, 9 euro pizza). We ate at the wrong restaurant - should have listened to our host. We went to Sagitarius restorante which is huge and takes tourist buses, but was close to our accomodation. if you order mussels, make sure to say, "in the bowl" bc i got mussels stuffed with breadcrumbs - not what I was expecting.

Its a lovely area for a respite.
Its a lovely area for a respite. Its also a good base for nearby areas like Monopoli and Ostuni. Everywhere is walkable and beautiful visitas of the ocean. I was there in Winter so a 2 night stay was fine. In summer you might stay longer to utilise neighbouring beaches.

Lovely oceanfront city.
Lovely oceanfront city. The oceanfront is made up mostly of cliffs, some with caves, and an occasional beach. There is a nice beachwalk broken by occasional locations where multistory buildings are positioned right up to the edge. Easy walking. Everything is clean and near. My wife and I are seniors, but never saw anything that caused us to be concerned about safety.
Nearby restaurants we tried were very good.

I was a little disappointed with Polignano a Mare.
I was a little disappointed with Polignano a Mare. I found that there's not much to see or do there. Then again, I'm not much of a beach person. I think this is more of a beach destination if that's your thing. I ended up going to nearby Monopoli each day, which is only a five minute train ride away. I much preferred Monopoli - it felt like more of a city with more to see and more going on. Also, the seaside areas of Monopoli are wonderful, as there are long stretches of walking and biking paths right at the level of the sea.

The location was perfect. You can walk to the train station and to old town, the beach and restaurants. The host Claudio and father are sweetest people. They picked us up from the train station and arranged transfer to the airport for us. Claudio’s father even brought us a bag of snack as a parting gift. If you visit Polinganano, you will not regret staying at Vico Blu. We have traveled a lot. This place is among the best places I have stayed.
The location is priceless. Right in the main piazza of the beautiful old town
This boutique hotel has a very comfortable and lovely glass lift leading from the reception are to the roof terrace
Not to mention Antonia the owner of this family run hotel. She's the best hostess anyone could hope for when on vacation. Extremely helpful to the point of going out of her way to accommodate your every need and yet not In an.intrusive kind of way.
The location of the house is very central, very near tho the beach. Also it is very accessible given the fact that it is on the ground level. There is a supermarket near the house you can buy everything you need. The house is very well furnished with the facilities that you might need during your stay, including the washing machine, even if I did not use it.
Helpful friendly staff with great local restaurant recommendations, terrace, a la carte breakfast options with fruit platters, welcome drink and fruit nice touches, massages available afternoon and early evening, very helpful with location of nearby secured parking. Great location for busy night life, restaurants and famous beach all minutes away.
The location is excellent, it's only 10 mins to the city center and the most beautiful beach in Polignano a Mare. The room was spacious and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. We liked the little balcony. The accommodation is very modern and has a lovely interior. The host assistant helped us to book a tuc tuc to get to the winery.
Modern and very very comfortable in an old setting that blends in with Polignano a Mare’s unique environment and setting. The property is perfectly located to easily get to the beaches nearby and for a morning cup of espresso and yummy breakfast. The aircon was magic as well! And lastly, Nico, who runs the place, is a deadset legend!!
Very clean apartment & very good location! IIiara & Owner Lorenzo were the nicest host we met in this Italy trip! Always went to extra miles to satisfy our requests ! Breakfast is much more than anywhere else , and the fresh cherries & apricots from Lorenzo’s garden! Great restaurants recommendations! Thank you for your hospitality!
The property was very well located in the old town and still not a far walk from the train station.. Although a quite small room, it was very comfortable - in fact the best bed we slept on in Italy and the rain shower was lovely.. we were given some good recommendations for restaurants and they turned out to be terrific..
The stay was great! The food was awesome and the staff at the restaurant was very welcoming. The pasta lady, the vitelo grill guy and even more the guy that have been in Rio were especially welcoming. The hotel is by the beach, there are beautiful fields with flowers nearby and the whole stay was peaceful.
Dear fellow travellers (solo or families) out there, if you want to visit the south of Italy, spend some time here and you won't regret it. The place is just a dream, staff and owner super friendly, beach few steps away, the city is just 7 min driving away. Book your stay and just enjoy it!
The location is beautiful and a in very traditional part of the town. There are lots of restaurants nearby and all the attractions are very close by.
The staff are excellent and couldn't do enough to help you. The hotel itself was perfect and very clean.
We would definitely stay again.
House Mami is a charming place to stay as it is nicely and comfortably furnished with good kitchen amenities. Parking is on the street but seems safe. It’s easy to get in and out of Polignano a Mare from this location by car. A short walk of 10-15 minutes will find you near the beach.
Beautiful spacious room/apartment in the heart of the historical centre. Tastefully furnished. The breakfast was 5 star. Lorenza was very helpful in arranging parking and luggage transfer from the parking area to the accommodation.
Really nice and spacious appartment with 2 bedrooms, really close to the beach and the old city center. Restaurants were nearby, a garage was available for our car. We really enjoyed our stay there.
Clean, spacious room with nice balcony to sit out on overlooking part of the town and ocean. Very good breakfast with best croissants we had on our whole trip in Italy.
It was a really clean house. Saff was very helpful. The house is quite near to the beach. App. 10mn walking distance to the famous Polignano a Mare beach.
