It's a nice hotel, but you need to book a superior room the standard is considerably less equipped.
Enjoying an enviable location in the heart of Tuscany, this charming hotel is situated in Leonardo da Vinci's birthplace, within easy reach of the area’s main attractions.

Conveniently located to make exploring Vinci quite easy. Staff were so friendly and accommodating and made the overall experience very pleasant. The hotel has a quirky old charm which my family and I loved, and the breakfast was very good. If you have a dog, a great place to stay.

Very welcoming and available host :) We were allowed to do an early check-in which was great because we were very tired from previous travels.
The property is a lovely farm with cute animals (cats, dogs, chicken, geese, goat...) just outside of Vinci. Just a few minutes away with a car (although our 1987 old car struggled a bit on the dirt road, any other car would have no problem).
The room and the bed was very comfortable, more than most accommodations we've been to and super clean. Breakfast is also good and again, it was a pleasure to be received by the host.
Set on the top of a hill and surrounded by the peaceful countryside, Antica Bottega Vinci is 3.1 mi from the center of Vinci. The property features free WiFi access, a garden and free private parking....

We enjoyed our stay at Antica Bottega di Vinci very much. The place is very beautiful, clean, quiet, traditional and has a beautiful view from the property over Tuscan hills (just what you want to see when going to Tuscany!). It's located a little outside of Vinci, so prepare for a curvy drive uphill.
The owners are amazing and warm people, that helped us a lot when our car battery was empty and went our of their way to help us. Every morning we enjoyed a lovely, cute breakfast prepared by the host, and received as many recommendations as we wished for. I can absolutely recommend this place.
Il Casolare di Leonardo is 0.9 mi from the center of Vinci, in the Tuscan countryside. It offers an outdoor swimming pool, free Wi-Fi in public areas and free private parking.

Everything! Updated rooms with everything you need.
Breakfast was delicious, pastries are made there.
The best part was the restaurant on site with delicious food at a reasonable price and great affordable wine. .
Staff was very friendly as well. Our 3 year old daughter enjoyed the pool and the swing set at the property.
Vinci is special. The Leonardo da Vinci museums are extremely interesting and also the villa where he was born. The town is charming with ancient villas, and fabulous vistas. The people are really nice, friendly and helpful. Also there are wonderful restaurants.

I love this town.
I love this town. Rural enough to be off the beaten path with easy access by car (or bus) to Florence and Pisa. We loved the area. Wine and food abound. Seriously. Go to La Becherria for a great meal (or anywhere, really) and be sure to get some wine tasting in at the little spot at the corner. Read about Peter Dent and Da Vinci's horse and enjoy the trails between the olive trees and vinyards.

I have always been a huge Leonardo fan and visiting Vinci has long been on my bucket list. But on previous trips to Italy I had not been able to work it out. This time I made it a priority and I was not disappointed. Anyone who is an admirer of Leonardo's genius needs to see this town, the museums dedicated to him, the home he was born in and the museum dedicated to his artwork. The town itself is quaint and the people who live there are friendly and helpful. There are a number of good restaurants, including the one at the Leonardo museum. I highly recommend this place.

I'm writing about Leonardo, so I wanted to soak up as much of his energy as possible for inspiration. I spent a long time at his birth house in Anchiano. You can call for a shuttle from the Tourist office to take you and pick you up. Franco drove me there and picked up at the exact time I requested. The museums are wonderful and diverse!

As birthplace of one of the most influential historical...
As birthplace of one of the most influential historical personalities Leonardo da Vinci it is worth to be seen. The small town (still) is a very quiet place. We think that the museum seems to be very superficial. It does not lead you into the times when Leonardo was born, nor does it show any of his - maybe first - writings or sketches.
However it was nice to stay at the square of the museum and having a morning coffee in the bar in the house.
A traditional first-floor apartment with a fully equipped kitchenette, including coffee, microwave, and refrigerator. The spacious sleeping room, while warm, might not be warm enough for our preferences. Welcoming hoHowever, the terrace offers a superb scenic view. The apartment is located next to Leonardo Da Vinci's birthplace, allowing you to catch a glimpse of the house from the terrace. It's just an hour's drive from Florence, passing through the beautiful landscape of vineyards and olive groves.
The house and hospitality by the host family set new standards. We have been welcomed with a bottle of local wine and received many other home made surprises during our stay. The terraces for your happy hour offer a view over Tuscany and so does the house itself. It is the perfect place for remote work thanks to impeccable WIFI and ideally located for easy trips to Florence, Pisa, Siena, Lucca and other cities not to miss. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place.
What a cute find! If you are looking to spend a day or 2 in Vinci we would highly recommend! it’s in the historic area 2 steps from the main Leonardo da Vinci museum. it’s a traditional Italian village house. Such a lovely experience. Everything was perfect. Milk, yogurt, butter, breakfast breads and a yummy pie were all waiting for us on our arrival. If you would like to cook your own meals, there is a small market 5 minutes walk from the house. We really enjoyed our stay.
The hotel has new rooms which are beautifully decorated and have a great view to the vineyards. These new rooms are fare better than the ones in the main building.
Staff in the breakfast area were so kind and so was the staff from the restaurant just outside the hotel (but that belongs to the hotel). The chef was amazing. Breakfast was good too.
We had a pleasant time, but there are a lot of improvements to be made.
Lovely staff greeted us and showed us around. The rooms were nice and clean and had everything we needed. They have a nice pool area and a great restaurant that I really recomend. Its close to the town of Vinci which is definitely worth a visit. They produce their own wine and olive oil that we tasted at the restaurant and ended up buying a few bottles of to take with us. Very friendly and helpful staff.
- very detailed authentic place. everywhere You look everyrhing is made of authentic furniture, paintings, you feel really comfortable and in Da Vinci origins
- quiet place with many places to taste local wines, olives, cheese.
- parking on site, pool, fully equipped kitchen, small surprises to taste, small details like historic doors, saloons etc.
Perfect place for a family with children in quite place of Tuscany. Very friendly and nice staff and great wine, which maked the stay comfortable. The accomodation included a rich breakfast, with excellent local pastries (they also offered dinner, which we didn’t try, but looked very tasty aswell). Thanks you for a wonderful time spent at your place.
It was a fantastic stay and wonderful setting! Very relaxing and the hostess was very lovely. Vinci is 5 minutes by car and a cute town, but the property is so lovely we didn't even want to leave. In fact, the only downside was that we had to leave for meals!
Great and helpful host with lots of food recommendations for the area. The room was comfortable and the fan was much appreciated given the Italian summer heat. The place is located right opposite to the ticket office at Vinci so it’s a great location.
Great room with superb bathroom.
Excellent location in the centre of Vinci, walking distance of everything.
Perfect breakfast via voucher in a nearby bar, minute walk, croissant/sandwich & cappuccino/coffee/juice.
The beautiful view from the terrace on the Florence, Lucca and Pisa, the hosts were very nice and friendly. The house is distance from the birth house of Leonardo da Vinci cca 1km. Very nice surroundings for rest.
beautiful historical villa in Tuscany on a vineyard, very quiet and peaceful, with an amazing restaurant on site. they also produce amazing olive oil in addition to wine
