The town of Drunen itself is nice but nothing special,...
The town of Drunen itself is nice but nothing special, pretty typically "Brabants". The big difference is the nearby Drunense Duinen, with its hiking, horse riding and on- or off-road cycling opportunities. The motorway allows pretty easy access to most other tourist sites of the mid/southern part of The Netherlands, including the Efteling and the city of 's-Hertogenbosch of course.

Loonse en drunense duinen National Park is a Dutch hidden gem I'd say. It's a large wilderness area good for cycling, hiking, mountain biking, trail running or just observing and enjoying the pristine silence and countryside landscapes around you.
I liked the remoteness of the location, it was super quiet! The bed was very comfortable, the room was spotlessly clean and it was nice having a fridge. The hotel had a restaurant which we didn’t use in the evening as it was very busy, but we had breakfast the following morning before checking out which was lovely. The gentleman who took our order also said if there was something we fancied that wasn’t on menu, they would try their best to accommodate and make it for us.
The location is perfect.
The hotel is situated to the national park and it is quite and very green.
It has wonderful walking and cycling paths. It also has a river nearby that you can have your picnic or just walk and relax. The scenery is wonderful.
It is not far from the town Drunen. You can go on foot in less than 15min.
The hotel has also a nice restaurant with reasonable prices and very helpful personnel.
The host is very kind and helpful.
The personnel was very friendly and assistant. The house was complete and very spacious with a nice view of nature. A perfect place to stay and visit a city, have a walk or just spend some time at the house. Eating at the hotel is recommended too!
