Everything. This place is simply amazing. We have visited many times and will return many more. The hotel is simply a beautiful piece of history that you can spend a few nights in, while enjoying amazing food and wine in the restaurant for dinner. The breakfast shouldn't be missed either.
Surrounded by forest, Hotel Boschzicht is located between the cities of Meppel and Hoogeveen. There is a lovely terrace to sit out when weather is nice.

Very friendly staff which was accommodating for any surprise. Really human touch like you do not experience often anymore … although probably this is why family owned companies have a hart and soul that one experiences.
And the food is also great. Both diner and breakfast.

Great breakfast, very calm place. We went there for the "Dwingeloo oogst feest" and it was really worthy. Nice encounter with Henk and Sonja. Very recommendable.

Lovely quiet spot at the end of a cul de sac and so close to the bike trails? Could use AC for those plus 25 days but even the chickens did not wake us!
