Sweet little town..awful public transport connections, no cafes or restaurants to speak of in centre.. Need a car (no Uber).. Felt pretty stranded. Could not get to a nearby village which was the reason for my trip.

Owner who is also operator is not very friendly! This 12 room hotel is far too remote unless you have a car and lives in Coimbra or Porto! Definitely not worth an hour drive from Coimbra just to stay there!

The houses are very modern and comfortable, with lovely private gardens and unrestricted access to the rest of the property. Lots of old trees (among which a magnificent linden) and a thriving olive grove on site. The hosts are very attentive and friendly. Free, easy parking in the property.
