Our host was kind and generous with her time answering our many questions. She bakes the most delicious cakes and serves a wonderful cup of coffee in a charming old world setting. The location is isolated, yet shouldn't be missed. Just enough choices of eateries in the town square.

I liked Inatel Piódão for the room and common spaces, including a covered swimming pool. I also liked the possibilities of having meals at Inatel. Moreover, it is a very quiet place and close to the historical village of Piódão.

The village is gorgeous! Well-worth a visit.
The village is gorgeous! Well-worth a visit. The people are really friendly. Bear in mind, the village is very remote and there are only 3 restaurants there, but if you love nature and true authenticity, Piódão is the right place.

Beautiful village hidden up the mountains in Portugal.
Beautiful village hidden up the mountains in Portugal. All the house/bungalows are made of stone, the same stone also used to roof them, and to pave the street; this gives the place its unique charm and character. Not to mention the mountains, full of green and streams and walking trails. I’ll definitely visit again, to explore all Piodão and the region have to offer!
Committed lovely elderly proprietress, laid-back traditional guesthouse with rural atmosphere. Breakfast was served due to Covid-19 regulations separately for the guests in 30min. time-shifts in the hotel's common living room. Tasty local specialties for breakfast (i. e. cheese, marmalade...). Room & bathroom were tidy-clean, had excellent WIFI-Reception, amazing view to the valley, quiet but close location to the town's main square (where u probably arrived)
The whole hotel is pretty, cozy and comfortable. The common areas and the room were nice and spacious. The staff were also nice. We bothered reception a few times to ask for cardboard games (uno, chess, dominoes were free) and the person there was always very nice. The breakfast was excellent. Dinner was 16€ per person but totally worth it (buffet, and nice desserts). And we paid 9€ for a bottle of wine. We enjoyed this hotel very much
so glad we decided to stay in this hotel! the staff were all so kind and welcoming. we were visiting during the quiet season i think, because there were hardly any other tourists at our hotel, which i personally enjoyed! the room was large with amazing views of the city. check in process was easy, breakfast was good, and the location overlooks the town on the top of the hill and is a 1-2 minute drive down the hill, so very convenient!
Nestled in this picturesque village, the hotel presents an idyllic retreat, harmoniously blending with the historic charm of the surroundings. The traditional decoration of Casa de Padaria is a highlight in itself. Cleanliness is paramount at Casa de Padaria, and it shows. The room was impeccably maintained, with every corner spotless and well-organized. Breakfast at Casa de Padaria was another delightful experience.
The host was absolutely amazing, sooo friendly and helpful, even the breakfast was served to the table, service was 10+++. The place was spotless clean and the location is brilliant. Located in the historical village of Piodao and still could drive by the front door to drop off the luggages. Our stay couldn't be better.
Comfortable (communicating) rooms with good beds and great view on Piodao and the surroundings. Excellent wifi. Very friendly staff. Large breakfast buffet and also good food in the restaurant. Nice swimming pool. Games available for the children. Cosy bar. Private parking. Enjoyable walk to town
Hotel located on a slope among the hills overlooking the fasinating stone village Piódão. Breakfast was very abundant and tasty, staff was friendly and helpful. We very much liked the architecture of the facility, referring in style to the buildings of the stone village.
Fantastic place in the mountains. Located in a schist village in some ways more charming than Piódão. Cozy place with a simple but more than ample breakfast. And all the firewood you could want for the fabulous fireplace. Thanks so much!
We loved everything! The village is beautiful. The hotel is lovely: very clean, well maintained, spectacular view from the room window. perfect! The landlady is gentle, pleasant, always present and caring. We really liked the place.
I liked the room, including the bathroom, the common areas with the sofas, the bar, the restaurant and, the swimming pool. I also liked the proximity to historical village of Piodão.
The whole “experience” in Piodão as such. Loved the house, loved the owner. The rooms are good and clean, nothing spectacular, but very authentic.
The breakfast was phenomenal!!!
I liked everything about the hotel, the view of the mountain and the little village below, very clean, staff very friendly, breakfast had a lot to choose from and quite tasty.
A fabulous small hotel in a fabulous historic village. Perfectly located, quiet, and gorgeous views. A wonderful breakfast was served in the morning. A great stay.
