It was situated in a beautiful old peaceful small village, surrounded by nature. The house itself had all the the facilities. My mum and dad absolutely loved it and thought it was stunning (house, village and surroundings).

We stayed in a lake view room with a balcony that allowed us to see stunning sunrises and flocks of birds. It was so relaxing to cool off on the balcony at night and in the morning.
We thoroughly enjoyed the sunset view from the pool while swimming and/ or laying on a laying chair sipping on a cold beer. The hotel is surrounded by a charming garden where we were allowed to pick fruits from the trees.
There is also a convenient and safe lake pool to swim in the pure lake water. We enjoyed the bountiful and delish breakfast on one of the terraces overlooking the lake.
This would be an ideal place for writers and those looking to disconnect from daily life stressors and disruptions.

The care and attention to every detail was superb. For example, the sheets on the bed were so smooth and fine, the housecoats and slippers were pristine and cozy and the decor was beautiful and welcoming. The staff were incredibly professional and friendly. The grounds with the pretty swimming pool and the gorgeous patios were very relaxing and so enjoyable. It was a pleasure to sample the fresh lemons from the trees beside our deck when we made meals in our kitchen. The breakfasts in the main lodge were delicious and had such variety from freshly cut fruit cups to several breads and desserts, eggs, cheese and bacon. My husband loved that there was ample parking and bicycles that we rode into little Sao Luis for groceries. We were spoiled and pampered during our stay.
Espaço Pinguim in São Luis provides accommodations with a garden and a bar. There's a private entrance at the homestay for the convenience of those who stay.
