Not many affordable places to stay in the Transfagarashan, and this one hit the sweet spot. Very nice host, tried to help as best she could, and even changed our 3-bed room to a bigger one which was available (no extra cost).

This property is truly remarkable and not what we expected at all. Old watch tower with modern comforts beautifully done, with amazing 360 degrees views from top room. Cozy bedrooms with clean bathrooms and lots of sitting areas. This definitely was a unique experience, as we never stayed in anything like that. This place is huge with lots of stairs.
