I chose this location due to the proximity to the Romanian - Bulgarian border.
The place was cosy surrounded by natural shade provided by grape wines.
Room has a decent size and decent furnitures.

We like absolutely everything about this apartment. Very comfortable, very clean, has everything you might need: washing machine, great internet connection, a huge tv, large comfortable bed, fridge, cooking equipment. The hosts even provide coffee, sugar, cooking oil, and some drinks in the fridge. This is by far the best place to stay in Giurgiu (we visit Giurgiu at least once a year, and have already stayed here 4-5 times in the last 3 years).
Featuring garden views, Casa Mocanu in Giurgiu provides accommodations, a garden, and a bar.

This property is about 100 meters from the train station. So, if you are arriving late, it's the perfect location. I appreciated spending time with a Romanian family; I felt home.

Just have being there one Day. Enough. Nothing there, Nothing worth to visit. Also people walking around like Zombies. No laugh, no Spirit. Not a place to be, I know now why people from cities like this migrate to western europe.

This is a border town between Bulgaria and Romania, and the only reason we found ourselves there was to wait for a PCR test unexpectedly before crossing the border. There are fairly good facilities there, ie a Carrefour and Kaufland etc. There are also some restaurants and takeaways if you find yourself there. We went to Pizza Misu, and one pizza was great, one not so good, but amazing value for money (around £6 for 2 large pizzas!)
Like everywhere in Romania and Bulgaria, there are many stray dogs and so it is not very pleasant to walk around with your own dog, but it is interesting.

During the pandemic, I can understand austerity from a property. I just needed a room, to sleep, clean up. This property did that. They only accepted cash, which was a surprise. No toiletries offered (but I had my own). In Giurgiu, there are few options for hotel stays, apparently all the business is across the Danube in Ruse. For me, Hotel Vlasca gave me what I needed.
Giurgiu a small town on the southern border of romania. Not a place to be. Nothing here, Also people walking around depressed and missing every spirit. Hotel was somehow lousy. Bed has its time far away. People in the Hotel give no "Hello" or a smile. Restaurant - could not tell if it was ever open the last year.
The welcome was warm from the very lovely lady on reception, the hotel was superbly clean and the room was very comfy .. the only down side was the surly attitude of the member of staff at breakfast and the coffee machine was way too slow !!
But overall a fab find for a much needed break from driving !! 🤩
Value for money, but old construction. the reception guy was very responsive and there to help you. Nevertheless building is an old construction and not a contemporary hotel. But i consider it value for money. The guy also upgraded by room to apartment which is highly appreciated
Wonderful apartment in Giurgiu! Extremely clean, everything looks brand new, all the amenities you could hope for, including fridge, microwave, clothing washer and drier. Very comfortable, exceptionally good value. By far the best place to stay in Giurgiu!
The price is good, the hotel is centrally located, free parking on the street in front of the hotel, silence at night, hot water, clean rooms, air conditioning, refrigerator. The bed mattress is very good, so are the pillows, the sleep is good.
They accepted pets and the room was clean. Friendly staff, they don’t bother their guests. Overall a good hotel. The lobby was empty of furniture, the restaurant closed because of Covid-19, but overall it was just fine for a night to sleep.
The owner of the hotel was a very pleasant host, his advice/recommendations were spot on.
The room was good, very clean, for Romania- exceptionally clean!
(I have walked out from hotels in this country and slept in the car)
Room was clean and well heated. The bed was super comfortable and the bed sheets were clean!!! Lady at the reception was welcoming. We only stayed at the hotel for one night and sadly didn’t have time to enjoy the breakfast.
A good place if you have to stop a night for rest. Pretty clean, white towels and bedclothes. Good Wi-fi. There are free parking spots beside the street in front of the hotel.
