Our stay at Purple Haze was fanstastic! Louf and Thembi were warm and welcoming. Purple Haze is so peaceful and a perfect escape from our busy lives. The rooms are clean, comfortable and fully equiped. We were surrounded by breathtaking views of the beach and the Cintsa landscape. We would definitely visit again. A perfect mother and daughter vacation stay. Thank you Louf and Thembi ( MamZangwa).

We were well and very friendly received. We had a lovely spacious clean room with a bathroom on suite Coffee, tea a kettle and milk was provided, but they went the extra mile by also providing the most delicious rusks.
Breakfast was optional. as we were still travelling quite a way we unfortunately had to decline.
Would like to use the facilities again.

You should consider having a generator aa a backup for load shedding purposes, having to use candles was not a nice experience

Travelled with my teenage son.
Travelled with my teenage son. He got bored after a few days - not a lot of activities for teenagers. The activities and places to visit in the area a but expensive. The backpackers was very quiet for this time of the year - no group activities for school holidays. We played some golf at Olivewood - that was great!
Crawford's setting is lush and picturesque; the grounds are well-maintained and the friendly staff are always willing to assist. Nigel made outstanding cocktails, Zanele and Vuyani were excellent waitrons, and Barry was a fantastic surf instructor. The exciting array of activities on offer are worth a stay at this excellent family-run establishment. A horse-ride on the beach with Cintsa Horses Rehabilitation Centre was the highlight of my trip!
Taki and Suki are two amazing hosts, taking care of us like we were part of their family We only spent one nite in Chintsa and are glad we stayed here. Lovely chat in the morning while having coffee. Room was wonderful, (loved the hidden bathroom door). Within walking distance to a small supermarket, deli and restaurants and a short walk to the beach. Would have liked to stay longer and if we come back to Chintsa we know where we will stay.
The best place on our roadtrip down the coast so far. The hosts Margie and Chris made us feel so welcome. They are such a friendly and carrying couple. The spacious cottage is located right around the corner from the beach. We loved everything about it; the beautiful decoration, the tidiness, the comfortable beds, the well equipped kitchen aswell as the braai area surrounded by a beautiful beautiful garden with the most stunning flowers.
Gill's Beach House is an exceptional place. We much enjoyed our stay. The location is amazing, view breathtaking and the house has literally everything you need. A few nice restaurants in the area, there is a nice Spar about 15km away if the local shop doesn't have everything you need. Also a lot to do in and around Cintsa, including a spa in Cintsa!
I can't stress it enough, the house is amazing!
Great location and Suki and Taki are delightful hosts! What more could you want?
Our room was comfortable and spotless, with an ensuite shower and delicious rusks. Within walking distance to a small supermarket, deli and restaurants and a few hundred metres from the beach.
From the fruit juice to the final coffee, the breakfast was an excellent start to the day.
Amazing, palatial accommodation! It really feels like staying in a palace, with beautiful furniture and decor, and sweeping views over the ocean and South Africa's Wild Coast below. The hostess was lovely, very welcoming and accommodating, and I was very pleased with my room. It was blissfully quiet, and I slept so well there. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
The room had a great view of Chintsa Bay / the river. Sunrise and sunsets were beautiful. The staff were friendly and seemed to be doing their best amidst load shedding/power cuts and having recently hosted a high volume of guests.
Had a wonderful stay at Gill beach house. very spacious and plenty bathrooms make it a very comfortable stay.
The house has a fantastic view of the river and beach. The beach is awesome for lovely long walks.
Loaf was an incredible host. He gave us lots of recomnendations around Chintsa.
The room was clean, spacious and had everything you need. The view from the balcony was amazing.
The overall experience was great. The service, facilities and cleanliness was on point. I particularly enjoyed the experience of both the bush and beach
