A picturesque town with many interesting nooks and crannies to explore. Good choice of restaurants, interesting art, mostly within easy walking distance.
Restaurants and shops closing early during the ArtWalk weekend was a disappointment. It seems pointless to offer activities that draw visitors, but then not offer them what they came for.

This quaint town is a treasure trove of antiques, books, friendly locals, and the slow-paced traveler. Horses in the backyards, coffee with delicious baked goods around every corner, and local art and artisan chocolates to keep you wanting to stay even longer.!

Greyton is a very pretty village.
Greyton is a very pretty village. A lot of good accommodation available. Quite a lot of restaurants, cafes / coffee shops. A supermarket, petrol station by and a pharmacy, so more than adequate from C a shopping aspect.
We were there for the annual classical music festival, not the first one we have attended in Greyton, and it was most enjoyable.
Great destination for walks / hikes, mountain biking etc.
Generally a great place to visit !!

Greyton has so much to offer.
Greyton has so much to offer. This time we chose a quiet and peaceful stay, popping into the various little shops and restaurants and 2 leisurely walks around the town were sufficient. I have done the Greyton/ McGregor hike a couple of times in the past which is not easy. AbbeyRose offers great meals and The Post House coffee shop super cappuchino. I can highly recommend Carla for a massage!
Central location in Greyton, walking distance form most restaurants and shops. Small little cottage next to main house, with one bedroom and en suite bathroom with shower. Perfect stay for weekend for 1-2 people, to use as base to explore from. Large garden for guests to use and parking on site. Good quality king size bed, big cupboard for clothing and heaters or fan provided. Small nook in bedroom to make tea/coffee, with fridge and microwave provided. Hosts very friendly and available if needed.
The cottage was the perfect setting for a relaxing weekend in Greyton. It is a cozy little house that makes you feel welcome as soon as you step through the door, and is kitted out with everything you'll need to have a wonderful stay. The kitchen includes a dishwasher and airfryer, and the bikes provide a fun activity. Kyle's handy information about Greyton in general ensures that you get the best out of your stay.
Excellent accomodations in Greyton! An exceptionally homey apartment close to the Saturday market and downtown attractions. Thoughtfully appointed with all the comforts of home. Solar power is appreciated to avoid load shedding. The yard/garden is tranquil and offers spectacular mountain views. Most important, Doug and Beulah were fantastic hosts, and took great care to ensure our wonderful stay.
Toad Hall is in the centre of Greyton but my room was set back off the road, so it was nice, secluded and quiet. The room was nicely decorated and clean with a good bathroom. It had all the facilities that I needed and was a very pleasant place to stay. It was also a room that kept cool, despite the heat outdoors and without any need for air conditioning, so it was particularly comfortable.
Spent quality time with my family in a beautiful house and town. De Oude Pastorie feels like home away from home. It is situated in the main road with many little restaurants to explore and a market on each Saturday. I would definitely recommend staying at De Oude Pastorie while you are exploring the lovely Greyton area.
Charming small hotel with lovely gardens, the rooms, linens, pillows and bed very comfortable. It is an older property, funky pool, but had a fun style to it. Loved the small town of Greyton and all the Mt. Bike trails. The location could not be more convenient to the town, bike rental and Saturdays farmers market.
Greyton is a nice little village with some good restaurants. We did a nice hike in the nature reserve.
We stayed in a garden room and we liked the modern design and comfortable bed.
Hendrik is a friendly host who can give you good tips.
Highly recommended!
Great location in town, walking distance to everything in the village.
Rooms were not luxurious, but perfectly comfortable and quickly character. Each room with its own decor, and interesting furnishings.
Perfect for a Greyton breakaway!
It is in the beautiful town Greyton in the Western Cape. It had all the necessary basic facilities, it was quite cosy in a nice country-like street, the garden and the trees around the house create a relaxing atmosphere.
The interior design and landscaping at Greyton Lodge are beautiful and well curated. The breakfast is also excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. The wifi was generally good and also worked during loadshedding.
The staff kindly prepared breakfast to take away the next morning as we hiked the Greyton to McGregor trail. They also looked after our luggage whilst we hiked, and went the extra mile to accommodate our needs.
