A must visit.
A must visit. One of the most beautiful locations in the Western Cape. Settled in a valley, surrounded by beautiful vineyards and farmland and majestic mountains. The area has a rich history of wine making. Only a 90 minute drive to excellent beaches, to make day trip to coastal towns. Look at the areas' tourist information for fun events, like "sleeping under the stars" - on a mountain top, art and craft and markets.

The town is very small but has a lot of traffic passing by.
The town is very small but has a lot of traffic passing by. Many restaurants are not open every day so check with them before driving out. The hosts of Stars hollow have a restaurant and shop in town that is open every day and they make great coffee and pizza. You can walk around safely and the residents are very hospitable.

We were at a conference for the 3 days so we did not get to travel around but the country side is beautiful and there is definitely a pull to go back for a few days holiday. The restaurant we can recommend is The Barn. The food and service is outstanding.LynetteSouth Africa - 10Scored 10
Beautiful Town with amazing Restaurants.
Beautiful Town with amazing Restaurants. And in general a very welcoming town. Being part of the LGBTIQA + Comunity we were not frown upon and were accepted everywhere we went. Wine tastings and Olive tasting were amazing.

loved the scenery, 2 mins from town and restaurants wine estates, perfect place for a lovely break, watched sport at red tin roof and ate there, , lovely shops and vibe, Royal hotel does great G&T's :) Eves is a good place,

Lovely quiet town. Less of a buzz than Riebeek Kasteel.
Lovely quiet town. Less of a buzz than Riebeek Kasteel. Don't expect to go shopping for clothes and stuff, but the local PicknPay has everything you should need for a few days. The hairdresser, Just Gorgous, is worth a visit!

We had rented two rooms and one of the rooms did not have an attached bathroom, but a separate one outside designated for the room.
