The coastal scenery is equal or better than some I have seen on the French Riviera. The rock formations were amazing and easy to view. The view from the Anzac memorial was great to get an overall picture of the bays and islands.
Worth taking the time to walk around the historical trail. Museum of WA outstanding. Anzac monument is a must see. Whale world gives such an insight and perspective via the tour - a visit is essential.
The restaurant we ate at was tastefully and simply decorated - every wall display was different and most interesting from the upside down waste paper baskets hanging from the ceiling to the old newspapers and poppies that covered the walls - we enjoyed the food there.
Facilities are outstanding in area. You can park the car, have a picnic, and walk on pristine beaches or along footpaths or boardwalks along the cliffs - very well planned routes clearly marked. Above all, the views are amazing.
St. Joseph's Church is bright and open, beautifully furnished - the statues, pictures and wall art is meaningful, inspiring with simple, strong shapes and overall appeal. The people there are so sincere and helpful, their Parish priest so gracious.
