Things to Do in Calgary
Glenbow Museum
This museum brings together art and cultural history. In its permanent exhibitions you’ll learn about the traditions of the indigenous Niitsitapi people of Alberta: from their decorative tipi tents to story robes – pictorial tales painted onto bison hides. Meanwhile, 19th-century paintings by Paul Kane and Cornelius Krieghoff detail the changes that came with frontier expansion.
Heritage Park Historical Village
History buffs will feel at home in this interactive conservation where Calgary’s past is brought to life. Explore the 10 hectares of recreated town, where all buildings are from 1915 or earlier, and include a church, school and fort. Costumed interpreters are on hand to answer any queries. Daily demonstrations and over 180 attractions and exhibits will keep you immersed and captivated.
Calgary Tower
Standing 191 metres tall in the heart of downtown Calgary, this colossal observation tower is a focal point for the city. Constructed in 1967 to celebrate Canada’s Centennial, it also sheltered the Olympic torch in 1988. A revolving restaurant sits atop the tower and serves dinner over unbeatable views of the city and the Rocky Mountains.

Exceptional
the distance to get to places was time consuming so plan your location of hotel better to be close to the area you might spend most time at

The city of Calgary looks run down and dirty. Maybe it was the time of the year but I couldn't wait to leave. Calgary N.W. looked old and run down and is in great need of municipal planners.

I used to live in Calgary many years ago, and there is so many different area of the City to find whatever one wants. Also people are friendly.

It is an easy city to walk around, apart from shopping it has lots of parks and rivers.and public transport is cheap and reliable.

Have $ and vehicle to stop when you want ,where you can pull over safely to enjoy the views.

Heavy traffic and complicated road system. Needs more attractions for short time visitors.

weren't there long enough as we were flying out from there

Booking.com asked travelers...
