Very Good
We live up island in Ladysmith and had a flight from Victoria in the morning. Instead of risking a snowfall or accident on the Malahat, we stayed in Sidney the night before. Sidney is a nice little town for a day trip. There are some great beaches and parks on the peninsula as well.

It is a quaint little seaside village with lots to do close to Victoria. We could have done a lot more than we did and so I can not speak to a lot of the sites it has to offer.

small boutiques small local restaurants the usual fast food retaurants close proximity to airport close proximity to Victoria

Great little Thai restaurant on Beacon Ave. called Sabhai Thai. Apparently people from all over drive to eat there.

The water front, and all the little shops. Felt really relaxing to just walk and talk to the friendly people.

small easy to get around, in car you miss small things

Crab cakes and clam chowder on the wharf
