Things to do in Great Malvern
Worcestershire Beacon
Welcome to the King of the Malvern Hills. Worcestershire Beacon is the range’s highest point, clocking in at 425 metres above sea level. Start your walking route from the town of Great Malvern and wind your way up – the panoramas over the rolling hills are well worth it! Leisurely strollers should try stopping off at St Ann’s Well Café for refreshments on the way.
Herefordshire Beacon
If you’re into the Iron Age, or simply grand country views, Herefordshire Beacon might just be for you. This hill is home to British Camp, an old fort built over two thousand years ago. Only the earthworks remain, but it doesn’t take much to close your eyes and imagine the Roman army advancing towards the ramparts.
Little Malvern Priory
Little Malvern Priory oozes rustic charm. Nestled under a woody hillside, this Romanesque church is every inch the English country idyll. It was once a Benedictine monastery, run by monks. Head down for Sunday matins for the full experience.

Exceptional
Lovely buildings, not overdeveloped. The town has everything we could wish for. Walking on the hills, transport by both bus and train with good services, privately owned shops outnumber nationals.... and there is a good Wetherspoons!!!!!

Booking.com asked travellers...

Describe the nature in Great Malvern.

A bank full of violets, green hillsides and vallies alive with birdsong and butteflies. Mystical sunset over endless landscape. Walks to suit all ages/stages. Elgar, radar. Bliss.

It's very hilly and there are some tight turns. Appear to be good car parks so park and walk, it's not a huge place.

The Malvern Hills always inspire me!

The theatre was excellent.

Wodpeckers and kestrels.

The morning stroll

Dog walking
