Things to do in Llangollen
Castell Dinas Bran
Dinas Bran translates as Crow City in English, but it is usually known as Crow Castle. Castell Dinas Bran is set high above Llangollen and can be seen for miles around. Little remains of this once great castle, but the effort in making the steep climb up the pathway to the castle is more than made up by the spectacular views over the surrounding countryside.
Horseshoe Pass
The Horseshoe Pass is a mountain pass in Denbighshire, north-east Wales. It separates Llantysilio Mountain to the west from the 565 metre mountain and Marilyn Cyrn-y-Brain to the east

Would have liked two chairs in the room, so we could both sit down instead of taking it in turns. This is a common fault with hoteliers that seem to think that its ok for one person to be sat on the bed all evening to watch tv or read a book.

Just love the place. One visit to Llangollen will not be enough. We have been visiting the area every year for the last 9 years and still keep finding new places to visit and stay at.
