When looking at map for long stay parking to enable us to go on 2day trip to Sark , a local resident obligingly offered us her garage as they were not using it for a few days-how generous!

Well its small and driving is a nightmare in the little narrow roads. Buses are very frequent and will take you all round the little island of Guernsey

Step back in time and visit Sark and Herm. Enjoy the handmade chocolate after a horse carriage ride with Julia taking you to lunch at Stocks on Sark. Not cheap but worth it.
There are no roads or cars and to get to the top from the ferry entails a ride on the "toast rack".
