Booking.com asked travelers...What should you avoid to make the most of the nightlife in Mýkonos City?
The drinks are very expensive, though they are the same throughout all the venues. As most people drink standing outside the venues (probably due to the music being played way too loud) then you can buy your drinks from the local little kiosks and shops. In the bars a bottle of Smirnoff Ice is 8 Euro, the kiosks sell them for 3 Euro and we found one of the shops sold them for 1 Euro 60 Cent.See all 6 answers
Booking.com asked travelers...Where should people go if they don't want to eat in a tourist trap?
There are plenty of cafe/restaurants to choose from and as such the prices can vary. It is well worth walking around the streets and checking out the comparisons. In 10 days we were there we never ate in the same venue twice, and would happily eat at all but 2 of them again. The two we would not eat at again were not bad places but we didn't really enjoy the way the food was cooked.See all 5 answers
Booking.com asked travelers...The beach means different things to different people. What did the beach in Mýkonos City mean to you?
The Super Paradise beach is fantastic, the facilities are great and the beach is in a cove. There are regular buses from the bus station near the port every 30 minutes (it is a 15 min trip) to the beach and it costs 5 Euro each way. The beds and beach brollies are 4 Euro each per day to hire.See all 17 answers
