all the major clubs. You can purchase a cheap club ticket at any hotel or bar you go to. If you don't buy the tickets in advance they may be more expensive at the door.

Nice for a stroll and a few drinks outdoors in bars and cafes. A lovely way to spend an afternoon.
Not that nice for swimming.

Good Question. Unfortunately there is a lot of crime that goes on in Ibiza Town. I can't count how many times I was offered Cocaine and other drugs. The drug dealers aren't dangerous or pushy so if you walk past them without acknowledging them they will leave you alone. Also be careful for the common pickpockets. I was sunbathing on the beach and just woke up from a nap. I noticed a young girl walking past me as I was lying on the beach. Well... she looked innocent however, there was a couple sunbathing about 10 feet in front of me. The girl walked over to where the couple was sitting and took their iPad literally from right in front of them. I jumped up and grabbed the ipad from her and returned it to that couple, luckily for them I was honest and alert, so I suggest you all to be alert as well. So avoid the drug dealers stay alert and make sure to enjoy all the night life!! It is so WILD and FUN!!!

Is there more to shopping in Ibiza Town than just brand-name stores?

There are bargains to be had, in the various branches of La Sirena there will be sale items and also along Av Macabich there are some 'warehouse' shops where you can find cheap clothing. If you're looking for something with some Spanish feel to it, you can pick up items from the market near Dalt Vila and shops in Av D' Espanya. You'll often find one-offs in the many independent shops around this area.

Where should people go if they don't want to eat in a tourist trap?

Restaurants are generally pricey in the area but there are some reasonably priced places near the entrance to Dalt Vila. You will find the closer to the port you are the prices are higher. There are some nice eateries along Av D' Espanya such as Harinus and Piccola and many good places in Figueretas.

The sun was so nice, yet there was a cool rapid winds that keep me very cool as I sunbathed. I got a great tan. In addition, like most european beaches, it is ok for women to be topless on the beach to get rid of any tan lines.
