Nelson Mandela Square has amazing restaurants with a great variety for food. There is a fabulous Itailans (Ghirardellis) which should not be missed and I can highly recommend the Chilli Chicken pasta and Rump steak.
Hard Rock Cafe also resides here for fabulous cocktails or a nice cold beer.

A visit to Soweto is a must, and it includes Nelson Mandelas house. you can see both this and also that owned by Archbishop Desmond Tutu, as both nobel prize winners once lived in the same street.
Also visit Constitution Hill, historically this should not be missed and is both moving and thought provoking.
