Very Good
The lake tour and the volcano tours were great. The Masaya volcano night tour is a must do!!!! Great town for walking around taking in the sites. The rebuilt colonial square is impressive.

I loved the short trip around the islands of Lake Nicaragua. We didn't buy a big tour. We just negotiated with our horse-drawn carriage driver to arrange it with a friend. We made a similar arrangement for a driver and guide to Volcan Masaya. It was wonderful!

We love the relaxed atmosphere of Granada. Great restaurant choices! Between Lake Nicaragua and Ometepe and Masaya there is always plenty to do and see.

Gringo heaven. English everywhere and US dollars accepted. Safe and clean. Worth it as a pass through and one day was enough. Similar to Antigua, Guat. except more expensive and less interesting.

What makes fine dining in Granada stand out?

I use the term fine dining loosely, but for a Central American country they have some of the finest. The steak I had at El Zaugan was one of the best I've had and the entire meal including wine was less than $30 USD.

Just by walking around and exploring, near the central park, which is mainly pedestrian. We had a wonderful filet mignon in this area.

Its a pretty compact city and well signed making it easy to navigate

The prices are high as they love to bargain, never accept 1st price!

visiting the congregation at El Puente church

Helpful and full of easy smiles!
