Shopping in Wellington is average to good. Wellington has retail ranging from high-street brands to high-end designer suit retailers and everything in-between such as boutique and used item retailers. Auckland probably has more retailers to offer the hardcore shopper but the choice is still somewhat limited and still marginally expensive. But if you want a shop till you drop experience then NZ is not the best place. The UK, USA, France, Germany, Italy, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand and Australia all offer more in terms of retail and market shopping.
