"Au Petit Coin Breton" offers the best crêpes this side of the Atlantic. If I did not know a was in North America I would have sworn I was in Saint Malo, France while I was eating these delectable delights. Great béchamel sauce, excellent service. Oh Là là.

Our worry about not knowing enough French was needless. As soon as we said "Bon jour" they could tell we didn't really speak French, and happily spoke to us in English. However, we continued to sprinkle our conversation with Merci, and S'il vous plais...and they either appreciated it...or were amused by it...but it brought plenty of smiles!

We had heard of the "Elf on a Shelf", but in Quebec they have something called the "Elf Lutin" which is a little bit different (they are bigger, and come in many different costumes)...and irresistibly cute. We each bought one to take home. There are Canada and Quebec products that are unique, and also boutiques and department stores. Plenty of choices for fun and different Christmas gifts!

Le Petit Chateau - My girlfriend and I were referring to it as the Crappy Creperie. Prices were high and food was horrible.

There is hardly a place in the city that would not be a nice place to stop for a kiss. The views are excellent. If you have the money a carriage ride will blow your mind. Picnic in the park? Possibilities are endless.

Au Petit Coin Breton. I studied in Rennes France and traveled frequently to Saint Malo... where I had the best crêpes in the world. Until I have the time and money to return to France I will be going often to Quebec..and to my favorite restaurant.
