The beach means different things to different people. What did the beach in Tel Aviv mean to you?

The beaches of Tel Aviv are geat because they are smooth sand as far in as you can walk. Generally no rocks, stones, razor clams, etc. Also: no sharks and I hadn't heard of any jellyfish issues. Quite ideal for sunbathing and swimming, with a pretty city skyline behind. Only one note of caution: Theft is RAMPANT! Several people were robbed while I was in Tel Aviv, including one girl WHILE SHE WAS SITTING NEXT TO HER BAG. You're best off leaving your valuables somewhere else altogether.

Street food is amazing and mostly kosher so you are confident you eat food of good quality. It's very great that cafes ant restaurants serve large plates of delicious salads.

If you plan on pre-drinking (a good idea to keep the costs of nights out down, you can buy a bottle of vodka for about 30 NIS more than a drink in a club), remember the shops cannot sell alcohol after 11pm.

Israel is awesome in a sense you'll get to know a culture that has almost disappeared. Also, if you connect to locals, you'll see how modern and cosmopolitan Tel Aviv is. You'll find some historical places to visit, an awesome beach life, unique music styles and a great nightlife.
