Most of the streets in the old Sino-Portuguese centre of Phuket old town, centred around Phang Nga road and the central day market building, offer plenty to see. The renovated shop houses show lots of period style, and there are any number of small coffee shops and restaurants in the area to relax and watch the day go by. There are several Chinese temples in the area too that are worth exploring.

You can snorkle there and encounter some black tip sharks about the size of 1.3 mtr...I did and it was an amazing welcome experience to start our adventure trip ahead in Phi Phi and Phuket...we had a blast during our first time visiting Phi Phi and Phuket
