As it is a shingle beach, not much and as it was inclement, unsuitable. However on previous stays it has been very pleasant, and the nice wide promenade makes it special.

The Burlington Hotel provided the most wonderful restaurant experience in Gio's bar and a luxury family room with great 'side sea views' in a lovely historic building. The town offers many shops and bars and a beautiful coastline filled with really friendly people who were happy to chat proudly about their town.

I started to visit Worthing when a dear friend and ex=work colleague was taken seriously ill following a fall at his home in the town. I started to visit him from time to time, and, for company, I used to bring my elderly mother who loved Worthing and its shops and other amenities. Although, sadly, my friend has passed away, I still visit as I have now made other friends there.
