This hotel is well placed for driving around : scenic and historic places including Dinant are not distant . Moreover it is a haven of peace to stay here with its own extensive grounds , fine trees and roses with the 19C mansion attractively positioned . Monsieur and Madame are welcoming hosts and there is a lift if wanted . Point about here is that it is what was once more usual but certainly exists here : a restaurant with rooms . None the worse for it too as the rooms are are all spacious with some more than just that & clean with comfortable beds and real sheets not the now quite ubiquitous duvets which cause such problems in warm weather . Their restaurant preserves high standards and I endorse previous reviews and can state that Monsieur in his kitchen presides over the provision of excellent traditional French cuisine with some nods to more local treats . Breakfast simple but quality bread and cold cuts , the volume of guests cannot justify lavish buffet some demand . I repeat : think good value restaurant with rooms : Come to eat temptingly good dinners and sleep comfortably .“
