Arena Ipanema Hotel is situated in Rio de Janeiro, just 100 metres from the famous Ipanema Beach. Absolutely fantastic. Will go back! The location is unbeatable, the breakfast is amazing, staff is super nice and helpful. The rooms are really great and modern. The hotel pretty much has a private access to the beach. Ipanema beach on quieter than copacabana which was awesome.

The room was a good size, well maintained, and the food was lovely. It was a great location! The perfect place for a short stay in Rio. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Victor & Miguel at reception are so lovely and a huge asset for the hotel. They helped us to book our trips to Cristo Redentor and the Sugarloaf. The staff who served us for breakfast and dinner were also really nice!

Location is incredibly safe and five minutes walk from Copacabana beach, Ipanema beach also very close between 5 - 10 minutes walk. 5 minute walk from train station if you’re planning to visit Sambadrome (about a 30 minute train ride to Sambadrome). Uber bikes across the road to rent. Lovely little bar across the road with good food and drink. Incredibly value for what is offered at this hotel and location. The staff are super friendly and can’t do enough to help you. They made me feel really welcome and safe which filled me with lots of confidence as a solo traveler!
