Near to the bars and the whole nightscene but still in a quiet area to get a good sleep. Rooms and common area like in the pictures. It was clean and provided with what you need for a stay. Offering an outdoor pool, Vila Galé is located right in Rio de Janeiro´s city center. The hotel features a complete wellness center and guests can enjoy their on site restaurant and bar. This hotel was amazing! Right in city, walking distance to everything, inc carnival parties and sumbadrone. The food was the best in Brazil and prices rediciously cheap considering. Staff were friendly and accomodating. Pool was lovely and closed by 10 pm.

Cool bohemian cafes and bars for breakfast and night hang out in the area. Close to the Explorer restaurant. The restaurant of the hotel is also extremely popular. They let us check out way later than the official time. Nice gesture.
