Attractively set in Xi'an, Joke Inn features air-conditioned rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a terrace. One of the best stay in China. The location was excellent (right next to the South Gate, and a walk away from the Muslim quarter) and the room was clean and comfortable. The hosts were helpful and very attentive to their customers’ needs. The Manager spoke perfect English and made sure I had everything I needed. Hands down, one of the best places I’ve stayed so far. Highly suggested.

The room was really big and spacious. Barry in reception is super special. He helped me hail a taxi even though it was freezing cold.

I only need to bring a small amount of clothes because they also have a self-service laundry room with a dryer. You might say all you need is to bring yourself by that point. The staff is very helpful and fast at solving problems. One time the TV had no active channel, after reporting it to the reception desk, It was solved in 5 minutes. They also have a mini-mart directly opposite the hotel door, very convenient. It is located in the city center, which is very good for its price range. Breakfast is very filling, with Asian dishes as the main dish.
