A lovingly renovated 19th century villa in the leafy suburb of Lichterfelde. There are artworks all over the gardens and the hotel and every room is individually furnished with beautiful antique furniture and artworks. While the hotel is not situated in the city centre, the excellent public transport services of Berlin make it easy to reach. There is, for example, a direct bus line to/from Berlin Central Station right to a few metres from the hotel. The staff was wonderful and bent over backwards to help me. I arrived in the morning after a long flight from Melbourne and had a seminar at Freie Universitaet at noon. When I mailed this to the hotel, they were so kind to allow me to check in in the morning without any extra cost, so I could take a shower and change clothes before going to my seminar. The hotel offers a large choice of breakfast items and breakfast is prepared fresh individually for each guest.

This stylish hotel provides comfortable accommodation and free Wi-Fi in public areas and some rooms. It lies just a few steps from Lake Wannsee and Wannsee S-Bahn Train station. Nice quiet place. Were clean too

Perfectly placed for a few days stay - 25 min from the Train Main Station by direct S-bahn line. A little bit noisy because of a highway and reconstruction, but excellent forest and only 10 min walk to a lake, Nice breakfast

מלון אקשטיין (Hotel Eckstein) המציע חדרים אטומים לרעש ואופניים להשכרה, ממוקם ברובע שטגליץ (Steglitz) בברלין. We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is not new or anyhow stylish but was simple and tidy. As we needed the room for sleep and refreshment only it was more than perfect to stay. I do work at the hotel myself, so naturally i was able to see any flaw ;) but its was all compensated by extremely kind and pleasant staff and atmosphere.

This quiet hotel is located beside the Stölpchensee Lake in Berlin’s green Wannsee district. It was a great location and we shall probably visit again in the summer

This 3-star hotel is located in Berlin's southern district of Steglitz. We liked the fact that it was very, very quiet. The access to the building was also very easy. We arrived late, but we could enter the building easily with the instructions of the receptionist. The building, room, bathroom, everything was perfect. The hotel is in the south of Berlin so it can be a bit far away; despite of that, once you understand how to get there with S-Bahn and buses, that's not a big problem.
