Hotel Pavillon Opera Good 7.3 The lovely welcoming staff, especially Maud who is especially happy and helpfull. Such comfortable beds, so nice after a long journey. A very good location and easy to find. Handy to the Metro with plenty of pleasant spots to eat nearby.
Est Hotel Good 7.1 The staff was very nice and helpful. The location is great and very close to Gare De L'est, which is a pretty big station. The hotel is going through renovations, and it's going to look amazing. We slept in one of the new rooms, and they are beautiful and well built. An amazing value for a small amount of money, compared to the great value. A truly great place to stay in.
Avalon Hotel Paris Good 7.4 The staff at reception was very friendly. The room was very clean and tidy. Wi-Fi was fast with no problems.
Provinces Opera Good 7.5 The room was clean and nicely decorated, a bit small but good for Paris. The price was very good.
Faubourg 216-224 Pleasant 6.2 I loved everything. Great time and definitely going back.
Hotel Taylor Good 7.7 People who complain that hotel rooms in Paris are too small show their ignorance. This is the way it is. You're in Paris! The room was just as we imagined from the pictures on the hotel's website: modern yet charming, just enough room and very cozy, decorated in comforting creams and pastels. It was so quintessentially Paris, and this was actually the first hotel room I've stayed in that made me feel like I was coming home at the end of the day. Even though there is no ac and we visited in late August, we wanted to stay here so badly that we decided we would just have to suffer through it. We ended up with relatively mild temps, both day and night, but we were also pleasantly surprised! The huge window had no screen, but there seem to be a lot less insects in Paris than in jc/nyc. We had to leave the window open all 4 nights, but had not one mosquito bite! Whereas here at home, I would definitely get a mosquito bite from sleeping with an open window. Don't worry if you don't speak French. Many Parisians speak it very, very well, including the staff here. Even so, I have been studying French for some time now, and was determined to do my best. They patiently conversed with me in their native language, even though I was far from perfect. I really appreciated this! P.S. I am actually a 39yo single mom who was traveling with my 20yo daughter, but the closest "traveler type" choice for us was "family with older children."
Amiot Good 7.2 close to trains, restaurants, buses. staff speaks fluent english and very helpfull
Hôtel Le Rocroy Good 7.3 Hotel was really close from Gare du Nord. Excellent welcome , and facilities to leave my laggage that made me feel really confortible. Awesome free service of computer with printer . Ideal for buying ticket to visit Paris.
Grand Hôtel De Paris Pleasant 6.6 We booked a quadruple room. The room was huge and cosy. Suitable for a family with small kids. Near to public transport (buses or tube). Easy to find muslim food too. There was an Indian Muslim restaurant about 20 metres from hotel which serves the best curry and briani in town with the cheapest price that you cannot get in other area.
Hotel Best Western Opéra Grands Boulevards Good 7.5 Well located for cafes, restaurants, metro (2 stations), shopping etc. Walking distance to Gare Du Nord for the train to the airport. While I thought it was on the expensive side for Paris it was within reason
