Entering the hotel gives a true sense of grandeur - the wide, sprawling concourse and reception, the retro-styling of the open-plan lounge area, the chic bar/cafe... Also, although I make a point when abroad of using the native language as much as possible, it was reassuring that the reception and hotel staff were fluent in English and this could be relied upon when I was out of my depth!!!…

The location of this hotel is ideal-- close to the metro, cafes, and restaurants, and has a fantastic view of the Eiffel Tower.
