Italy’s first capital, sophisticated Turin has many elegant buildings and porticoed streets. Large Piazza Castello is the focal point and centres on Palazzo Madama, an unusual structure with a Renaissance façade and medieval body.
The next door Royal Palace backs onto Turin Cathedral, home to the Turin Shroud, the cloth with an imprint of Christ only rarely on display. Its museum is just one of the many fantastic Turin museums. None is better than the Egyptian Museum, the largest collection of Egyptian artifacts outside Cairo. Also noteworthy is the Mole Antonelliana, housing displays on Italian cinema and supposedly the world’s tallest museum.
By the Po, Italy’s longest river, is the Parco del Valentino, a tranquil park that is home to the Borgo Medievale, an artificial, medieval-style settlement with a castle.
However, within Italy, Turin is best known for sport and cars. FIAT is based here and nostalgia lovers can visit the rooftop track on top of their old Lingotto factory, now a conference center. The city’s 2 Serie A football clubs - Torino and Juventus - also have electric atmospheres at their games.
Watch out for amazing views of the Alps as you fly into Turin Airport. Public transport then quickly links you to your Booking.com hotel, B&B or hostel.

The city has a lot to offer from museums and galleries to shopping and site seeing.We only stayed for two days which is not enough really to see everything. I’d recommend purchasing the City card as it offers quite a lot of free or discounted entries to many museums , however some museums have a timed entry slots and require a booking online only Egyptian museum for example , we missed out on that one .Be prepared to spend quite a lot of time walking around museums and galleries as they are big and there’s a lot to see .
If traveling on the weekend then definitely try to book a restaurant for an evening meal as they get really really busy and it’s almost impossible to find anywhere where you can just walk in , we found out the hard way and after a lot of walking and not being able to get anywhere we were almost at the point of giving up and just by pure chance stumbled upon a nice restaurant that found a table for us and we had a lovely meal after all .Unlike UK most restaurants do not open until 7pm , but during day time there’s a lot of small coffee and pizza places offering pizzas , panini , sandwiches , light bites and of course famous Italian coffee . Don’t expect to find a large cappuccino as I’m pretty sure they don’t exist in Italy .
A tip from my friend who lives in Italy is to always look after your bag and belongings while walking the streets as unfortunately street crime is very high in Italy and police won’t do much about it if you were robbed . Also the night life tip is to always look after your drinks as drink spiking is one of the most committed crimes in big cities like Turin , Rome , Milan etc . So enjoy your visit but always stay cautious .

The experience was terrible:
The experience was terrible:
1) the host at the phone was rude and aggressive;
2) Taking the keys was a Drama, terrible experience, in the neighborhood of the Train station, where many Africans ask me of money;
3) the studio isn’t an Attico, but an old Cave humid and cold like a Storage without probably permit of Living (Booking must proof if Mr. Cossu the owner has the Permit of Living or not);
4) it is not possible to open the windows ( so from April until October isn’t possible to live there);
5) it is full of Spiders and dirty (see the pictures)
Finally it is ONLY A CAVE LIKE A STORAGE COLD HUMID NOT FOR HUMANS WITHOUT PROBABLY A PERMIT FOR LIVING (ABUSIVE AND ILLEGAL FOR LIVING)

One of the nost underrated cities in Italy and Europe in general. Such a lot to see, taste and enjoy. History buffs are spoilt for choice. Very safe, I was never bothered by anyone whilst walking around both very early and also very late in the day. The City centre has long streets, avenues and squares lined with porticoes so that one can enjoy the city centre also in rainy weather. Lovely urban areas with beautiful parks surrounded by hills and with the Alps just a train ride away.

Really enjoyed Tim Burton exhibition at the Mole.
Really enjoyed Tim Burton exhibition at the Mole. Wonderful bookshops, although I don't speak Italian I wanted to just stand in them and hope I would magically absorb Italian by the wonderful energy in these bookshops.

January visit - lot of sales and destination to have a Juventus adventure. Many places to see, however fog can be a drawback. Trasportation excellent. Arriving at the Airport take note that there are desks to buy tickets to City Transfer. Flibco only takes you to Susa Train Station. The lad behind the counter when asked told us that there is no transfer to Porta Nuova, Infact there is the Arriva Company Bus no 268. So do not stop at the first counter you reach if you are to Via Roma Area.

Turin was an absolute delight—a city that effortlessly combines beauty with an incredible atmosphere. Overall, a truly beautiful and amazing time in Turin!
Get a train and go to visit Bardonecchia!! Such a great experience
The hotel is very pretty and newly renovated. The owners are super nice and will do everything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible Breakfast is delicious and super fresh; you'll be treated with pancakes, crepes, croissants, yogurts,and fresh fruits. Coffee is delicious too. There is a private parking (this is gold in Turin!!); EV chargers available across the street if needed but one is coming soon on property. If you fancy good food, try out the Milord (about 100m down the street) ;-)
This is our third visit to this wonderful historic hotel. We will stay again, as it is perfect for a short break to Turin. It is central, a good bus connection to Porta Susa, the main railway station. There are many restaurants nearby and the staff are great. This time, we took our Daughter, her husband and children with us. The hotel is good with children. We particularly like the large rooms traditionally furnished. Always an excellent breakfast, served by lovely waiters.
Good price. Very nice staff. We didn't speak Italian, but somehow managed to communicate in English despite language barrier - all it takes is good will :)
Sweet breakfast, typical for Italy - several kinds of croissant and pies. Mrs waitress makes very good coffee!
Located very close to Porta Susa, many restaurants nearby. Very calm neighbourhood.
Personnel stored our luggage for free after we booked out, so we could roam some more before night flight.
The location was perfect as we were catching an early train to Paris the following morning. The room was quite big, with nice furniture, a good bathroom, a juliet balcony and duel aspect windows. We didn't take any meals in the hotel as it was a really quick stopover but the staff were great, the hotel was stylish and cost less than the awful hotel we stayed in at Kings Cross London at the start of our trip to Italy
Everything was perfect. Best location ever! The whole place is curated to the details. Better than many 4 and 5 stars hotels in Italy. It has even the dental kit in the bathroom, slippers, more than enough towels, amazing shower. We loved it. The photos don't give honor to this jewelry in the city. Highly reccomended and I will stay there next time I am in Turin.
The breakfast was sufficient with yoghurt, toast, ham, cheese, cereals etc. but I did miss vegetables. The coffee - as everywhere in Italy - was great! Personnel at the hotel was very helpful and nice. The rooms were very basic; mine was big but filled with one queen bed and two single beds. The toilets were small but obviously rather lately renovated.
Very kind and friendly staff!
Because there was a General strike in Italy we got to the hotel later than expected and after reception time. The girl at the reception was very kind and stayed longer to wait for us to get there. We had contact throughout the time which was very good given the special transport situation that day.
The Wonderful Italy team accommodated our late check-in due to the unexpected shutdown of Turin Airport. EURO 40 was charged for late check-in by cash. I have made several requests for the invoice regarding the late check-in fee, yet I haven't received any response or results.
A spacious and comfortable room. Very stylish in the way of old fashioned - but modernised - Italian hotels in northern Italy. So not just comfortable but also a pleasure to be there. Despite my eaerly departure I was given breakfast before opening time which was appreciated.
A wonderful bolthole in a central location in Turin. The room was just like the reception/communal/terrace areas –– immaculately clean, spacious, lofty, aerated, luxurious. Everything about this hotel/suites was top tier and would stay again in a heartbeat
Reception was so kind and welcoming! Chiara spoke excellent english and even though it was quite late at night (approx. 10:30 pm) she sent us across the street for the best pizza in Italy! We walked around and found the hotel was close to everything.
Very comfortable stay for group of people. We enjoyed three separate rooms, comfortable beds, clean and fresh modern enviroment with vintage vibe. What is nice to experience when you are in Turin. Not far from old town.
Well located near the train and bus stations but far enough away (over 1 Km) to avoid the confusion around a transportation hub. The hotel is close to all the main Turin locations. Vincenzo was excellent to work with.
I chose this hotel because it was close to the train station and was just for a quick overnight stay. However, the lovely room and the wonderfully helpful staff mean I would choose it if I ever visited Turin again.
conveniently located just across from train station, spacious , renovated with modern interior room and bathroom, excellent customer service( the best in Italy maybe), complimentary hot drinks,
Wooow we felt like in a luxury hotel compared to the other hotels we booked in italy for the same price! Great and modern bathroom, very clean, great breakfast buffet, great location!
Very close to Porta Susa high-speed train station.
This hotel belongs to a small chain in Turin (Best Quality Hotel) that consistently delivers no-frills budget accommodation.
The location is fantastic! Walking distance to all the central sites and easy to get to from Porta Nova and Porta Susa. Hotel seemed brand new everything was spotless!
