Hakata Miyako Hotel Good 7.7 Very helpful staff, excellent breakfast
Dormy Inn Hakata Gion Very good 8.5 Dormy Inn Hakata Gion is in a great location...walking distance to many attractions, shopping, Hakata Station for bus, rail and subway. Tokyu Hands and a 100 Yen store is located at Hakata Station. The breakfast is fabulous and the workers are so efficient and humble! The FREE nightly ramen is delicious, too. We would definitely stay at Dormy Inn Hakata Gion!
Japanese Ryokan Kashima Honkan Good 7.7 This is a true Japanese Ryoken experience. You really feel like you've stepped back in time 150 years. Very authentic experience. The room was huge and quite comfortable, with plenty of blankets. Feels like you are staying at your grandma's house--if your grandma was Japanese.
Hakata Green Hotel No.2 Good 7.8 Close up Hakata Station and convenient to trip.
Hakata Green Hotel Annex Excellent 8.6 Location is right next the Hakata Station which has a lot of food and shopping options. The Fukuoka airport is only a 5-7min subway ride away. The hotel itself is very nice. Everything looks very new and clean. The staff is very helpful. It was my second time staying there, and I would stay there again.
Hotel Sunline Fukuoka Hakata Ekimae Good 7.8 Exactly as depicted on the website. Staff very friendly. Right near the Hakata station. Great price.
APA Hotel Hakata Ekimae Pleasant 6.9 Close to the station for a good price.
Nishitetsu Inn Hakata Very good 8.3 I loved the spa and the free internet.
Hotel La Foresta By Rigna
First Cabin Hakata Very good 8.3 The location is really nice, on the 8th fl. of GATE'S (building name) connected to Nakasukawabata Subway Station which is only 2 stations from Tenjin. Plus there are many shops & restaurants around the accommodation! Even it is a cabin without private bathroom, it's clean & tidy! (I don't know about men's bathroom) It's quiet since they do not allow you to talk or turn on any sound in your cabin. So you will sleep easily. (No worry. You can make some noise in the living area) On Saturday night, it's a bit noisy so i gotta get earplugs from the reception. (I think it's a music from the upper floor and i don't know it happens every Saturday night or not. But it's just one night! So i don't really mind) But most of all, the staff is the main reason that made me gotta recommend others to stay at First Cabin Hakata. They don't fluently speak English but they try so hard to assist me. Plus they are polite with great service-mind. So! This place is really perfect for you if you travel alone! :)
