APA Hotel Yamanote Otsuka Eki Tower ligger flott til i bydelen Toshima i Tokyo, en 2-minutters spasertur fra Otsukadai-parken. Yes, rooms are tiny but that seems to be the case all over Tokyo. This hotel has a great location, right next to the Otsuka station (served by the Yamanote loop line), rooms were spotlessly clean and the staff was very nice and professional as well. As added bonuses, the bed was quite big and comfy and the top floor had a pretty decent sento where guests can bathe and unwind after a long day. Honestly, it far exceeded my expectations.

Everything was perfect! The location, staff, cleanliness, facilities, and comfort level were exceptional. There is a convenience store right beside the hotel entrance, and Ikebukuro Station and shopping malls are all within a 5 to 10-minute walk. Staff were very kind and friendly. The hotel room and toilet were spacious and clean, and the bed was not too soft or hard. They also use the ReFa showerhead for the shower. Free hotel buffet breakfast is included and there is a variety of food choices to choose from: croissants, pies, rice, pasta salad, soups, hot and cold drinks, and more. Guests can also wash their clothes in the laundry room. They provide the number of room keycards according to the number of guests so that everyone would have one.

The staff were super attentive, always on point. Plus, getting fresh pajamas every day was a sweet touch. Location-wise, it’s a winner - right in the heart of everything. Made my stay super convenient and enjoyable. Check out time is also convinient is at 11!!

The stylish Sunshine City Prince Hotel features 4 dining options and a 24-hour convenience shop. It's located in the Sunshine City complex, only 800 metres from JR Ikebukuro Station. Super beliggenhet, super betjening, Family Mart i første etasje. Kunne gjerne bodd her igjen.

Just 500 metres from JR Ikebukuro Train Station, House Ikebukuro offers Japanese rooms with free Wi-Fi, tatami-mat flooring and traditional futon bedding. Excellent location. Very close to ikebukuro station. The room was lovely and though next to a busy street, not too loud. Many restaurant options and lovely staff. The price is unbeatable. Really wonderful time.

Tokyu Stay Ikebukuro is within a 4-minute walk from Ikebukuro Metro Station and Ikebukuro Railway Station. It offers modern and comfortable rooms with a washing machine/clothes dryer and a microwave. Som alltid er vaskemaskin med innebygd tørketrommel et stort pluss. At det bugner av hygieneartikler er også en stor fordel. Personale er utrolig dyktige, hyggelige og veldig hjelpsomme. Kort vei til det man trenger som treningssenter (etter litt detektivarbeid og kartutskrift fra resepsjonen), shoppingsentre og mange små kiosker.
