Hotel Yasmak Sultan Excellent 8.7 We really liked the location: Very close to Topkapi Palace and Hagia Sophia, and only 10 minutes walk from Galata Bridge - very convenient for sight seeing. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast had a good selection. They had soy milk for my sister and I, and after a couple of days, we didn't even need to ask the waiters anymore, they just brought it to our table. For cheese lovers - they had a huge selection of cheeses. The views from the terrace are stunning, overlooking the old city, Hagia Sophia and the bay.
Hotel Ipek Palas Good 7.3 Hotel staff is very pleasant and friendly; room is very clean and cleaned on daily basis; breakfast is rich and has good selection; Hotel is located very close to the Sirkeci tram station so it is easy to find it as well as to walk around historic parts of Istanbul.

Raymond Hotel Very good 8.2 Very helpfull and supportive staff , Excellent breakfast and very delicious dishes at the restuarant, Walking distance from all tourist places , shopping all around and many food outlets.Great place to stay
Hotel Sultania Wonderful 9.2 Everyone in the hotel goes out of their way to make your stay the best experience possible, from check-in to check-out service is their mantra. But don't think that this is 'service designed to raise ratings', everyone was genuinely concerned with our wants, needs and comfort! I am writing of a level of genuine service that we don't experience very often in North America. They really try to deliver a level of personal service to each and everyone. Thank you.
Golden Horn Istanbul Good 7.6 Very good staff, friendly and always ready to help. Location is excellent, close to metro and historical places. Food is normal. It is second time I was staying in that hotel. Best option for price. I would definitely recommend it.
Neorion Hotel - Sirkeci Group Exceptional 9.6 The Neorion Hotel is in an ideal location in the NE section of Constantinople where one can easily walk to the major museums and landmarks such as Aghia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, mosaic museum, Topkapi Palace, Basillica Cistern, hippodrome, archaeology museum, etc. There is a tram that you can also take to these sites. I stayed at the Neorion for three nights which entitled me to a free airport shuttle to the hotel. When I arrived at the hotel in the morning, Loreta (General Manager) offered me free breakfast buffet even though I hadn't checked in. (Check-in was at 2 pm.) The staff were so courteous, friendly and helpful. By the time I finished breakfast at 11 am, my room was ready and so I checked in early. The room was immaculate and comfortable, tastefully decorated with wood floors. The bed was huge and I had 6 pillows. There was a teapot, safe, mini refrigerator, great wireless access, marble floors and rain shower in the bathroom, TV with many channels from different countries, and Turkish delight (loukum) in a silver bowl. The downstairs pool and Turkish saunas (wet and dry) were clean. I used them ever night to relax. Breakfast buffet included honeycomb, halva, breads, homemade preserves, yogurt, cereals, eggs, potatoes, cooked vegetables, fresh fruit and veggies, teas and coffees (including Turkish). There was free mezes (appetizers) from 13:00-17:00. Nearby the lounge and dining room were glass cabinets filled with books and artifacts (that looked like museum pieces). The staff told me I could ask for as many bottled water for free. I felt so much at home. When I left, they gave me a beautiful scarf and some wrote notes. I definitely will be visiting again soon this year - after the tourist season! Thank you Loreta, Sule, Taner, Cidem, and all the rest of the staff for your warm hospitality! Best hotel in Istanbul!
