Set 1.6 km from Columbia University, Renaissance New York Harlem Hotel offers 3-star accommodation in New York and features a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. We had a great room with a fabulous view which we had not expected. Miracle checked us in and she was very friendly and helpful, giving us vouchers to use in the bar and restaurant. We ate breakfast which took quite a while to come and the coffee wasn't the best but the restaurant area is very stylish. The location is right in the centre of Harlem and I felt we got very good value for money.

The staff was wonderfully attentive and thoughtful, the rooms were clean and efficient, and the bed was so comfortable (I spelt great)! Great location, too! Very comfortable, great shower, especially coming in after a late fun night. Very relaxing and private.

Great facilities, breakfast and chocolates were a nice touch. Enjoyed the coffee machine. Made use of the in room microwave and fridge. Host was very helpful when I had questions and was very responsive via WhatsApp. Everything I needed was there.

Mary is an excellent host. The property is close to the 125th St subway, local supermarket and cafe's. The A train is an express to Columbus Circle. So nice not to be in a tiny hotel room.
