We liked the localization which was near everything: Pike Place Market, Space Needle, Pop Museum and etc. The staff were very kind and the food was great. The comfort of the room was superb along with a nice bathroom. The mini shop at the entrance of the hotel was very handy in case you needed anything. The receptionists were also kind and the reception itself was comfortable because it had a nice living hall.

This design hotel in downtown Seattle is 1 block from the Westlake Ave & Olive Way Light Rail station. Hotel Max features original paintings and photographs by Seattle artists. My stay at Max couldn't have been better. I was in Seattle for a week on a solo trip. I'd initially planned to stay at a different hostel in the city for the first few days then transfer to Max, but on arrival I found the hostel place totally unsuitable. This was a highly uncomfortable situation as I was on my own. I called Max reception late at night, jetlagged and frightened, to see if they could possibly check me in earlier, and my call was answered by the lovely Charlie. He immediately put me at ease, making the effort to ask if I was safe, and advised me on next steps in order to get me to Max ASAP. I turned up the very next day and the staff made every effort to reassure me and I was able to check in that evening. I could have cried with relief, and was so happy to step into a wonderfully comfortable room. The hotel is in a great location, a 20 minute walk from all the key sites in the city. The rooms are so comfortable, and I had a great time with the included record player and a copy of Nirvana's Bleach! It was the perfect place to call home for the duration of my stay, the staff made every effort to make us all feel welcome and advise on getting around the city. Thank you Hotel Max for saving my holiday!
