Penzion Martin is wonderful, homey BnB type of accommodation right in peaceful spa town of Janske Lazne. In winter you are right on the slopes for beginners, in the summer there are plenty of hiking trails or nice Kolonada down hill. The owner is very helpful and pleasant lady, who sent us detailed info prior to our arrival with all we needed to know. The penzion itself is cozy and very clean, breakfast was rich and tasty. Parking is free right by the house.

The hotel is little older, but the value for money is great and the staff friendly attitude compensates for any little downsides. The restaurant is great, I just recommend to make prior reservation, as they were full every evening, which is just another proof of good quality. The location is perfect for a family with small kids who want to learn to ski, as it is right next to small slopes which also have kids parks with belt lifts and plenty of ski rentals and ski schools. The room was big and have a lot of storage spaces, which is hard to find nowadays. A lot of parking space. We will be back definitely.

The place is so new and spotless that we have never seen anything this clean. The kitchen was really comfortable for cooking and was well-equipped with everything we needed. And we could have a nice morning cup of coffee on the terrace with a beautiful view. The area is also super quiet, even though the building is located right at the ski slopes. We came for MTB cycling and it was ideal for us! While we love to climb the hills we were also conveniently located close to the cable car that would like cyclists up to the top to explore all the beautiful trails, which we used on our second day. We would love to come back in the winter as there were so many modern elements for skiers, like boot dryers and so on in the building, Yes, it has its own ski storage with heaters and of course, parking! Definitely coming back.
