Excellent staff. You always pick up the energy around a place and staff that makes the difference. Bridge House is such a place. Attentive, friendly, genuine and very helpful staff. The room had many extras you normally don't see. When I left very early in the morning, a package with croissants and fruits was waiting for me in the reception. The breakfast was amazing since you could order from a menu, all inclusive. Can't wait to get back!

First of all, the check out time on the app or on the emails all said 8am-11am, but when we are checking out at 11am the staff said to us we made her one hour late, we should’ve check out at 10am and it’s very disrespectful, that’s exactly what she said to me and at that time I was really confused and shocked as I have the key of the room so i ask her said where should I leave the key and she just being lack of patience and rude said just leave it inside of the key box. honestly at that moment all my good memories with this place just gone so I think I should say thanks to her for ruining my day

A beautifully presented stone cottage in a quiet rural setting. Great set up for a family stay exploring the Dorset coast. Two pubs a short walk away through the village, beaches and cliffs not much further. Easy communication with the owners. Well equipped, secure off road parking, comfy beds and a safe closed garden for the children to play in. Kids loved their own room and playing with the owners friendly dogs. We would definitely book here again :)

We had a great time at Newlands holidays. The studio had everything we needed, the bed was comfortable, sitting and dining area was a bonus. Our children enjoyed the outside playground to burn some energy after breakfast, the soft play and particularly enjoyed the pool. Kids were allowed in jacuzzi which was a welcome change compare to other places we have visited. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back.

We were 2 families including 2 kids so we had two rooms face to face(Room 2 & 3). It was easy to come and go, and there was a table between the rooms, so it was a comfortable stay.

The location was lovely and the site had loads of things for kids to do. Safe environment for kids to play and make friends with other children staying. We have a baby and 10 year old and enough to keep both entertained. The cottages were comfortable and the hosts provided lots of things to make it as easy as possible for people staying (highchairs, welcome tea tray, cleaning equipment and washing up things, extra blankets etc). It was really easy to get to beaches and other places that were great for a family day out.

We stayed for 2 nights, with 2 young children. The area is lovely, lots of nice places to visit only a short drive away. On arrival we were upgraded from a Motel room to a studio apartment, which we were grateful for! The play area and pool were great, and lots of outdoor space for kids to run around. We only used the indoor pool as the outdoor pool was too cold for our baby!
