The location was perfect not too far from the town centre, and on a quiet side street, so it wasn't too noisy. The building itself was small, so not too many guests which kept it homely and welcoming. The owners were amazing, they truly went above and beyond, and even made it like a little party for my sisters birthday, which we hadn't asked for. I feel as though we have made new friends who we would like to visit frequently. The food was impeccable, fresh eggs from their hens, quality butcher sausages all freshly cooked, no frozen food. We felt like we were treated like family whilst we were there.

Could not fault anything, it had everything we needed and more. We were given a warm welcome, with flowers, chocolates, Prosecco and a card, as we had recently got married. The fridge had milk, and drinks which was great for arrival on a hot day. Martin could have not been anymore helpful or accommodating. The apartment is clean and decorated to a high standard. We would definitely return.

EPIC... It was a fantastic family base for our time in Colchester. Comfortable and spacious with lots of little touches to make it home from home for the adults and kids. The animals were also a hit with the kids and very entertaining...
