Wildercombe House offers bed and breakfast accommodation, located in the coastal town of Ilfracombe, North Devon, with sea views, free Wi-Fi throughout and free parking on site.

Wildercombe Houses’s spacious, wooden-floored dining room has views of the Welsh coastline. Breakfast is served each morning and includes full English options, and lighter continental choices, with meals made from local ingredients.

This is one of the most wonderful rooms I have ever rented! The hosts, Ann Marie and Barry, greeted me warmly upon my arrival and were generally available but not intrusive. The room was simply stunning! It was like having my own little apartment set in a historical property but updated with all the modern conveniences. There was a small fridge and kitchen stocked with utensils and even a little dining table. I appreciate that they had milk waiting for me for my morning coffee. Full breakfast cooked to order was included. Bed was so comfy and ahhhh, that soaker tub!! Plenty of outlets and a very nice desk where I could set up my laptop. Separate sitting area/living room. The best part was the attached private patio that meant I didn't have to get dressed and slog outside for a cigarette. Ten out of ten.

Great location right on the water. Bed was comfortable with all that was needed for a one night stay Food was good at reasonable price. Staff friendly. Small outside seating area overlooking the bay Public car parks close by and free overnight from 8pm to 8am so overnight stay in hotel car parking cost about £5 outside these hours. There is a very nice small sandy beach just outside the hotel which was used by families with small children as the water was quite shallow.

The room was very stylish and exceeded our expectations for the price - lovely antique and new furniture and lots of period charm. The location was convenient and breakfast was lovely. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and professional, and made our stay (with a baby) a wonderful experience. All the little things were taken care of, ensuring we had a bath, cot, high chair etc and even doing some emergency laundry for us!

The property provided a larger than average space for the 4 of us (2 adults and 2 children) the sofa bed was super comfy and the main bed was too - there was no arguments over who was sleeping where! The bathroom and kitchen were brand new with everything we needed. The host even ran to another hotel to get me a safety pin for my wardrobe malfunction so I could get to the wedding on time and secure!! The location was perfect for us as the family wedding was at Tunnels Beaches which was opposite! Just perfect!

Staff were really helpful. We loved the pool, it was really warm, the toddlers stayed in until they were bored rather than cold. There were pool toys to play with, and free towels provided at the pool. (As well as in the room) The room towels were new and soft. Kitchen equipment was great including a brand new microwave and dishwasher. The club is large but we didn't use it or the restaurant, except to go to the soft play, which again the kids loved.

Fully appointed kitchen, spacious living room, good TV(s), great shower and bath. Everything you could possibly need for a romantic weekend or a family vacation.
