Very clean and comfortable. Very well equipped kitchen. Great for accommodating large groups - there was 11 of us! Beautiful Christmas tree and a complimentary tub of chocolates and locally brewed 2 bottles of ale. Toiletries in all the bathrooms. Dishwasher tablets and washing pods provided. Tea and coffee provided. Matt was amazing and answered any queries. Fantastic location and very quiet. We had a lovely Christmas there.

As Blencathra and Eden View are the only accessible apartments on the first floor it was like having one large apartment with two kitchens and two bathrooms. It worked perfectly. Lots of little extras to ensure kids are welcome, entertained and catered for. The family rooms with the bunk beds are the best that we’ve stayed in. Can’t be beat. Friendly, courteous staff, despite our stay being early on in the restriction being lifted and the staff being new and still training. Just fantastic.

When we got to the room the children had cookies and welcome packs left in the room, even a spa robe and slippers, That was a really nice touch! The room was great and had bunk beds for the kids which they loved! The hotel is lovely, modern with a really nice spa. The pool is also family friendly & the food at the hotel was excellent.
