Fantastic location , friendly staff, , nice rural area, great premises, food was delicious too. The owners are wonderful to deal with and went out of their way to accommodate us this showed in their staff too who were all so pleasant. Very popular restaurant and bar - nice outdoor setting. We would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Lovely warm welcome, and staff that really couldn't do enough for us. The onsite restaurant serves a range of dishes, catering for vegans and vegetarians also. It's a community-owned pub/cafe/restaurant so the atmosphere is very friendly and it was always busy - There's a positive buzz that's omnipresent. Breakfast was toast, pastries, and cereals, simply help yourself - We didn't miss a cooked breakfast, at all, there was sufficient to see us into the day. The room was fabulous - Huge bed (large double) that was really comfy, en suite shower was immaculate, and the view from the window onto a country lane from which we regularly saw horses go by. Deadly silent by night, which was great, even with the window open. Will definitely be back!

Everything in the property was comfortable, the staff were very welcoming on arrival and couldn’t have been more helpful. The food in the restaurant was first class for both dinner and breakfast. I would definitely stay there again .

Great city centre location We had a very comfortable stay. The hosts were brilliant and welcomed us with some limited edition local cider. Will definitely book again

We had a fantastic stay in this gorgeous apartment & would definitely recommend. It had great character & was very warm and welcoming. The host went out of his was to accommodate us. After returning on the evening following a wedding our host had ensured the apartment was warm and had made up the spare bed for us which was extremley thoughtful. We were only on a one nights stay and had not thought about brining tea & coffee so was very grateful that tea, coffee & milk had been left for us.We had a great night's sleep & beds were extremely comfortable. We look forward to returning for a longer stay & would not hesitate to recommend this lovely character apartment, you will not be disappointed! 🙂

This place was stunning. It was so clean & so well thought out with the two bathrooms, two bedrooms & a fab kitchen. All the little touches they left us were amazing. We really could not have wanted a better place to stop for two nights. I wish we could have brought the beds & pillows home with us - they were super comfy 😊🙂😊

The staff were super helpful with any query and went out of their way to find a solution. The food was superb and the atmosphere in the bar/dining area was relaxed and welcoming.The room was well stocked with every little thing needed to make a business trip a very pleasant stay.
