The hotel looks and is amazing. It feels like being in the location of movie set in New England. The building looks historical and has been refurbished to offer nice rooms maintaining the original layout. The rooms and restrooms were really nice. There are also two reception rooms with some sofas and table games. Personnel was really friendly and helpful. Breakfast is quite nice with plenty of chocies (mainly cold choices and sweet). Location is great for visiting Portsmouth and the area.

Self check in. Door codes being my phone number (last 4 digits). Separate thermostat in the bathroom. The staff really liked working there. Location - only 250 feet from Jimmy's Jazz and Blues Club.

The room and hotel were BEAUTIFUL!!! The bathroom and was gorgeous!!!! I wanted to remodel my own exactly like this one!!!! The SHOWER!!!! WOW! Everything exceed our expectations. THE STAFF were very friendly and gave us tons of suggestions as to where to eat and what to see. Every staff member we spoke with were SO wonderful and seemed as if they honestly LOVED their jobs and appreciated us as individuals, not just customers. We could not have asked for better staff or a better room. Oh, and the destination was within a block of food, shopping, the harbor and tons of things to look at, such as historical architecture!!! Book this place and you won't be disappointed!
